So...I've been contemplating starting a blog for a while now.  Not really sure why it has taken so long but here it goes!

Here's the synopsis of my life for those of you who do not know me:
I was born and raised in Florida and I love, love, love it there.  I have amazing parents who have always been there for me no matter what.  I have 3 sisters, 3 step-sisters and a step-brother.  I have a bunch of nieces and nephews too!  In 2005, I married the love of my life.  Two years later on our anniversary we found out we were expecting.  In August of 2008, I gave birth to my amazing daughter.  Her birth changed my life forever.  She brings so much joy and laughter to my life, I can not imagine my life without her.
For most of our marriage my husband was a golf pro at a local golf course and I was a teacher at a local Christian school.  In 2010, we made a decision that would change our lives forever!  He joined the U.S. Army (active duty).  He left for Basic Training on October 25th...that was one of the hardest things that I have had to do up to this point in my life.  I went from seeing and talking to my husband everyday to not knowing when I would see or talk to him again.  Yeah it sucked!  Anywho, he graduated basic and then went on to his training (AIT).  After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, we finally found out where our first duty station would be...we would be heading to Ansbach, Germany.  The day I found this out is still a blur LOL!  In mid-July my daughter and I boarded a plane that would take us almost 4,000 miles away from my home, my family, and everything I had ever known.  It was tough, but knowing that my husband was waiting for us on the other side of the ocean helped me through it!  Now here we are in Germany.  I am so happy to be a family once again, it feels great!  I intend to cherish every moment because after all I am an Army wife and that means that the Big "D" word is not far away...yes, deployment.  I'm sure I'll get more into that when our time gets closer.  I have met so many amazing people over here...my Army family is amazing and I love everyone of them.

I plan to share what is going on in my life as an Army wife so that my friends and family can keep up with what's going on in my life way over here in Germany.  From time to time I may also use this as a way to vent...because Lord knows the Army can be quite irritating at times.  Please note that any future vents DO NOT mean that I do not support the Army or my husband.  I will always support my husband and his job no matter what; however, everyone needs to vent sometimes, right!?  The next few months are going to be filled with so many amazing memories and I can't wait to share some of them with everyone!

Until next Time...
